But at the same time, it can be the most important. Significant journey in a woman’s life. Motherhood is a gift from God that we receive and must cherish and protect. Every woman who chooses this path deserves respect and admiration.

Through a mother’s gentle embrace, kind words, and selfless actions. Children experience God’s compassion in Him most tangible form.

Motherhood is the way of manifestation of God’s love.

Mothers pour their hearts and souls into raising their children. It’s a constant process of giving without expecting anything in return. Their love reflects the very essence of God’s loving message to humanity. In this way, mothers exemplify God’s love. Mirroring how He poured Himself out for our salvation. Of course, no mother is perfect. And this journey is full of struggles and self-doubt, highlighting the need for God’s grace. Yet, it is often in brokenness that a mother’s love shines the brightest. When we stumble, God surrounds us with His love through friends, ones who offer support. His love covers a mother’s imperfections with mercy and wisdom for the path ahead. For those who have lost children or suffered a miscarriage, God’s love is especially tender. Bringing comfort and healing from the deepest heartaches.

Once, a young man told me, «I don’t believe in God or His love. You should only believe in yourself and rely solely on yourself.» It turned out that he had been in an accident as a child. And had to undergo 17 surgeries. Each surgery was a fight for his life. After each operation, there was a chance he wouldn’t make it. He endured terrible pain from every surgery. Only his mother helped him through it all. Even when he had given up and thought he wouldn’t survive the next operation. His mother always believed and never gave up. With tears in her eyes, she would send him off to surgery, saying, «Just don’t give up; we will make it. You’ll see, everything will be fine.» Throughout the ten years of his recovery, she never once expressed doubt. She always believed and inspired him.

The action of God’s love is Agape.

After listening to his story, I told him, «You know, I see it differently. I know that human love is limited. Any kind: paternal, maternal, friendly, or romantic love. There are many instances in life where mothers abandon their children, sell them, or even kill them. Any human love, without the reinforcement of God’s agape love, is limited. I see that God placed His love in your mother’s heart. And through her, God showed His love and care for you. I believe that God inspired and gave your mother strength and hope so she wouldn’t give up. I see how much God loves you and helped you through all of this. God manifests His love through people. All this time, God loved you, helped you, and supported you through your mother and others. God brought people around you who kept you from breaking down. And God worked through these people to show His love for You.»

The reflection of God’s love in us. The manifestation of the gift of motherhood.

Whether we have physical children or not. The nurturing and life-giving essence of motherhood is a gift that God wants all His children to experience. By His grace, we can all be «mothers» in this world. Showing compassion, nurturing the of others, and sowing seeds of love that will bear fruit for future generations.
